- Is it really free to start?
- Yes. You can start free on your own: private reflections, daily mood-aware prompts, and full control over your data. Solo deepens your private practice (and two Solos can link); Together is one plan that covers you both, with Gentle Nudges and small acts of care.
- Does my partner need to pay too?
- No. Together is one plan for the two of you. Once one of you subscribes and you’re linked, you both get the full experience — no second subscription, no scorekeeping about who paid.
- Can my partner ever read what I wrote?
- Never. On every plan, your words stay private from your partner — enforced at the database level, not just promised in copy. Insight is translated into a gentle, non-revealing nudge; it is never forwarded. The one exception is a single line you deliberately choose to share.
- So is this a journaling app?
- Not quite. Kindredly is a private relationship guide for couples. You each write privately, and a careful translator turns honest feeling into something safe to act on — a Gentle Nudge for your partner, a Private Reflection back to you. The writing is the input; the closeness is the point.
- What if something is too serious to translate?
- Some things shouldn’t be smoothed into a nudge. If what you write points to abuse, self-harm, an addiction crisis or a serious betrayal, Kindredly stops guiding the relationship and quietly routes you to real help — and never nudges your partner. Safety always comes before cleverness.
- What happens if I cancel?
- You keep your account and your private reflections. The Together features pause, and your words stay yours — deletable anytime, vectors and all.
- Where do I subscribe?
- On iOS, through the App Store. On the web, by card or PayPal. Either way it’s the same single plan on your account.
